It’s been a long time! How are you guys?

The band studio sessions. I like to blog about this studio sesh because it was the most fun and adventure filled studio sesh. We didn’t bring our cars, fought the summer heat, and walked around a lot. This session was spontaneous because we did stuff we don’t do in the sesh.

First, the band met in Makati. I commuted. Then I met up with Julio, our lead guitarist. We met at a coffee shop by 8am earlier. Talked and drank coffee while we waited for the others. When the others came, we headed to the studio. We commuted with all our gears. This studio in Makati is great. We call it the Orange room. Good surroundings, facilitties, and gear. I like it. Did some soundcheck then started playing. We decided to play Mayer songs earlier today. And I choked. I know all Mayer’s lyrics by heart and I choked up. I couldn’t get through so we decided to leave. Our drummer, Alphy called up this other studio so we could continue with our sesh. It was located near Taguig. This is my favorite studio out of all the studios we played in. We call it the dark room. Awesome gear, windy cool environment, isolated and underground, and dark. So we started with soundcheck again. To my surprise I sang perfectly! We had an awesome jam! We did the session there the whole day. So we decided to officially call it our home studio. By 6pm, we decided to call it a day. We commuted back to Makati. Commuted back home. It was so tiring! We all. Commuted with our hears on our back. It was fun but next time, we promised ourselves to bring a car.
